Fain's work has won her countless awards, including her most recent piece, made from beeswax which honored her First Place in the Exhibit, "Encaustic Works" at Kingston, New York.  Other exhibitions from the West Coast to the East Coast, have included "Full Bodied Love", in Oakland, Californa, "Woman: in the Broader Sense" in St. Louis Missouri, "Images of the Virgin" at Galleria Tonzantin, San Juan Bautista, CA, as well as "Rhythm, Gesture, Metaphor" at the Creative Arts Workshop, in New Haven, Connecticut.  In "Rhythm, Gesture, Metaphor", her work was reviewed in the New York Times.

Fain Hancock's art ranges from the Sensual to the Sexual to the Spiritual.  Weaving such objects as hair, nails, and other physical objects into her canvases, her work combines the physical world with the emotional and spiritual world, all her pieces taking the audience on the journey with her.
